Job Description

Our client requires a Setting Out Engineer for a Highways project in Southampton.

Start - April 2024

This is a great opportunity for long term work!

Required:

-Safety Critical Medical

-CSCS Card

-Relevant References and Experience

As the desired candidate, you will have, experience setting out for similar highways projects, have a minimum 5 years experience, be a team player, offer knowledge to sole problems.

Duties to include:

•              Setting out as per works information (drawings/specs)

•              Check the above for accuracy

•              Support all tasks on site as directed by the Contracts Manager/Directors.

•              Ensuring that quality control is met and recorded, completing ITP’s, daily

•              Engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome, as quickly and efficiently as possible

•              Recording the pre-start site surveys for each section of works

•              Handover works /quality documents without defects, and working closely with the senior site management

•              Uphold and implement all necessary Health and Safety regulations.

•              Provide all setting out equipment for your role

•              Engage with the commercial team to ensure works are commercially sustainable.

•              Communicate regularly assisting our planners with regular progress updates
