Job Description
An established, multi-discipline building contractor is looking to appoint an experienced M&E Project Electrician to work across a portfolio of commercial projects, predominantly within high-profile, occupied buildings across the City of London.
This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical knowledge, a professional approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
Project Electrician Key Responsibilities
• Installation and maintenance of electrical systems in line with 18th Edition regulations
• Fault finding on existing electrical installations
• Installation of lighting and small power systems
• Carrying out site surveys and providing technical input to Contracts Managers
• Working to NICEIC and health and safety standards
• Delivering high-quality workmanship to support repeat business
Project Electrician Requirements
• BS7671 18th Edition
• City and Guilds Electrical qualifications
• C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing
• CSCS Card
• Experience within commercial and or residential electrical installations
• Knowledge of lighting control systems such as DALI desirable
• Strong communication and customer service skills
