Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a successful, family-run Design & Build, Construction and Fit-Out contractor delivering a wide range of high-quality projects across Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties.

Due to an increasing workload and a strong pipeline of secured projects, they are looking to appoint a Project Manager to take ownership of projects from inception through to completion.
Project Manager – The Role
Reporting to a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of individual refurbishment, fit-out and laboratory projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest standards.
This opportunity would suit an established Project Manager, an ambitious Junior Project Manager, or an experienced Site Manager looking to take the next step in their career with a contractor that actively supports professional development.
Project Manager – Responsibilities
- Managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
- Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors.
- Managing project programmes, budgets and quality standards.
- Liaising with clients, consultants, architects and design teams.
- Chairing progress meetings and providing project updates.
- Monitoring Health & Safety compliance across site.
- Managing project documentation and reporting.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to an exceptional standard.
Project Manager – About You
- Experience working for a main contractor.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager, Junior Project Manager or Site Manager.
- Strong background delivering commercial refurbishment, fit-out or construction projects.
- Ability to manage programmes, subcontractors and client relationships.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
- Experience working on laboratory, life science or other technically complex projects would be advantageous, but is not essential.
