Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker to join a busy construction site in Winchester. This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established team on an ongoing project, offering consistent work for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out all aspects of external groundworks.
- Installing and working on block and beam flooring systems.
- Excavation, drainage, kerbing, edging, and finishing works as required.
- Preparing and levelling ground ready for construction.
- Working from site drawings and following instructions from site management.
- Operating safely and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and organised.
- Adhering to all site health & safety procedures and company policies.
- Working collaboratively with site management, plant operators, and other trades to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Assisting with general site duties when required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in all aspects of groundworks, particularly external works and block and beam installation.
- Valid CSCS Card (essential).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of health & safety on construction sites.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality work.
