Job Description
Our client requires a Site / Project Manager for a Highways project in Southampton.
Start - April 2024
This offers a great opportunity for long term work on a large project.
Required:
- SMSTS or SSSTS
-Black CSCS Card
-UK Drivers licence
-Experienced in earthworks and drainage.
-Experienced in working on motorways, and highways sector
-Relevant References and Experience
As the desired candidate, you will have, preferable experience working on highways contracts, be a team player.
Site / Project Manager Duties to include:
• Support all tasks on site as directed by the Contracts Manager/Directors.
• Uphold and implement all necessary Health and Safety regulations.
• Accountable for all personnel on site, ensuring; the highest standards of professionalism, workmanship, and punctuality.
• Engage with the commercial team to ensure works are commercially sustainable.
• Communicate regularly assisting our planners with regular progress updates from site.
• Produce and submit RAMS and manage all safety critical documentation.
• Competent in reading and understanding specifications and drawings.
• Be competent in using Microsoft Word/Excel whilst keeps efficient site records.
• Safely and sustainably deliver the project works.
• Manage site resource to deliver the project activity.
• Monitor to ensure works are delivered compliantly.
• Produce required records in a timely manner.
• Effectively manage and care for the people delivering the work
