Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Coordinator to join one of the regions leading property developers based in Dorset.
The role holder will be responsible for running their assigned projects and coordinating all necessary technical information and tasks.
Technical Coordinator Duties:
- Supporting the Technical Manager/Director with the delivery of Technical and Design information required for land appraisals and the Submission of Planning Applications.
- Coordination of external consultants in the production of technical details and drawings required for the effective delivery the residential schemes, from planning through to completion.
- Achieving Building Control Approvals and the Management of all imposed Conditions
- Clearance of Planning Conditions through the development.
- Coordination and preparation of working drawings, details, and specifications.
- Management and coordination of full technical release packs for tender purposes.
- Preparation of full Production & Sales release packs upon commencement of developments
- To ensure the delivery of information in line with agreed timescales and set programmes
- To assist in implementing departmental objectives and procedures
- Provide assistance to the Technical Managers with the procurement of service information and quotes, civil engineering details, and substructure details.
- Provide support and accurate technical information for all internal departments, including Commercial, Production & Sales, in line with any company goals and programmes.
- Check and review all technical details and reports for accuracy and completeness
- Coordination of the Development Health & Safety information and delivery by external consultants.
Technical Coordinator Criteria:
- A minimum of two years of technical management experience combined with architectural drawing knowledge from a practice or developer.
- Along with having strong people and communication skills, you will also have a solid understanding of building techniques, materials, and regulations.
- Knowledge of overseeing both new construction and classic build developments current understanding of CDM requirements.
