Job Description
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Planner to join a reputable regional main contractor has arisen. Typical projects include New Build and Refurbishments within the Education, Healthcare and Commercial sectors, with project values ranging from £1Million to £20Million.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience gained within the construction sector, working for a main contractor with Pre-Construction and Tender biased experienced. This role requires a split pattern between offices based in Southampton and Guildford.
Planner Responsibilities:
- Supporting the planning works stream for the development of tender and contract programmes.
- On site, contribute to the development of detailed programmes and control methods to monitor progress and productivity.
- Implement systems to record works in accordance with progress reporting procedures.
- Use standard IT packages and specialist software to aid in project delivery, such as Asta Powerproject.
- Implement progress monitoring and feedback to Senior Management.
- Develop project and tender programmes.
