Job Description
Our client is a leading civil contractor looking for a Steel Fixer to start on a large civil engineering project in Pevensey.
Monday & Tuesday Only (Holiday Cover)
Steel Fixer Requirements:
- a valid CSCS card
- NVQ Level 2
- Recent working references
Steel Fixer Duties:
- Assemble and erect the steel components required to strengthen reinforced concrete structures such as bridges, culverts, docks, industrial plants, power stations, railway stations, reservoirs, sub-ways, water treatment, and sewerage plants
- Ensure work is carried out to a high standard, using hand and power tools when cutting or bending bars and mesh, following engineering plans, fitting supports and other associated tasks.
