Job Description
Chartered Quantity Surveyor
We are recruiting for an experienced, Chartered Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established South Coast contractor with over 40 years expeirence delivering construction projects across the education, healthcare, residential, community and public sectors.

Quantity Surveyor Role Responsibilities
-
Full commercial management from tender handover through to final account
-
Interim valuations, CVRs, cost forecasting and final accounts
-
Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
-
Managing variations, payments and cost control
-
Working under JCT and or NEC contracts
-
Supporting project teams to maintain commercial performance
Quantity Surveyor Candidate requirements
-
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
-
Chartered RICS
-
3 to 7 years’ experience with a UK main contractor
-
Good working knowledge of JCT and or NEC forms of contract
-
Comfortable managing subcontractors independently
