Job Description
An opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's leading independent providers of both turn-key commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer. This is a multi-contract role within their retail division so you will be working in Supermarkets, Coffee shops and some smaller retail stores.
You will be working within the Servicing & Maintenance team reporting to the Regional Service Manager and will be covering Northampton and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for the Servicing, Planned Maintenance and Repairing of the below units:
- Cold rooms
- Display cabinets
- Refrigerators
- Freezers
- Pack Systems
- Split Systems
- Multi-Split Systems
- VRV's
- VRF's
This role is split 75% Refrigeration and 25% Air Conditioning so you will need to be comfortable with working on all units. The ideal candidate will have:
- City & Guilds Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent)
- F-Gas Certified (Category 1)
- A sound knowledge of CO2 systems
- 3 years experience of un-supervised working
- A Full UK Driving Licence
- Based in Milton Keynes or surrounding areas
In return the company are willing to offer a very competitive package including:
- A salary of up £36,000 (depending on experience)
- Door to door travel paid
